The Legion of Doom may be doomed

Seattle’s 27-23 loss to Carolina dropped them to 2-4 and left them with a steep hill to climb if they’re going to get to the playoffs, much less the Super Bowl. Since the current playoff format started in 1990, only 14 of 168 teams that started out 2-4 made the playoffs. None of them even made the conference title game, much less the Super Bowl. The Seahawks are likely to continue a trend of Super Bowl losers failing to win the Super Bowl the next year.
