Expectations get higher for Jaguars WR Allen Robinson

LANDOVER, MD. | Jaguars receiver Allen Robinson already had a spotlight on him.

With tight end Julius Thomas out for at least the first three games, that spotlight is now even brighter.

Robinson shined last season as a rookie before a foot injury ended his year after 10 games. Still, Robinson proved he could be relied on each week. The second-round pick caught at least four passes in the final nine games he played in, finishing with 48 receptions for 548 yards and two touchdowns.

The Jaguars need that kind of production as the season arrives with the opener against Carolina on Sunday at EverBank Field.
