Here at B&T we don’t often highlight random things about players, but this one about 2016 NFL draft prospect Eli Apple was just too good to pass up.
According to Dan Hanzus at NFL.com, a scout has mentioned that Apple’s inability to cook may make teams wary. The Milwaukee Sentinel first brought it up as a red flag.
This is one of those things that goes up quickly near draft day that is almost too outrageous to believe it even matters. When Apple is selected and signed by a team (which will certainly happen) it won’t much matter if he can cook, especially after he starts getting the checks in the mail.
