JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- For young kids in Jacksonville, having something positive to focus on is a great way to keep them out of trouble.
For Kaleb Johnson, football was not only his calling, but his escape as well.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound offensive lineman grew up in Jacksonville and played football at Edward H. White High School. The local big man, who was raised by a single mom and is the oldest of three brothers, found meaning on the football field and provided a positive influence for his siblings by doing all the right things.
"[Football] was something that kept me out of trouble," said Johnson.
