ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A common theme in the NFL is winning the turnover battle.
When teams cause more turnovers than their opponents, they typically win games. For the Jacksonville Jaguars, turnovers were few and far between last season, which played a part in the squad's 5-11 record.
The Jaguars finished tied for 26th in the league in interceptions (9), with the team's secondary only producing five picks in 16 games. Clearly, the team needed a boost in that department and will now look to curb that issue in the offseason.
For a team desperately needing playmakers, the Jaguars should leave no stone unturned in their search for relief.
