ESPN’s first round coverage averaged 7,026,000 viewers compared to last year’s record setting number of 9,943,000.
On the NFL Network, the first-day audience dropped from 2.43 million to 1.816 million.
Jacksonville tied for fourth in the ratings with Birmingham and Philadelphia with a 3.3 rating, the percentage of the TV sets tuned into the coverage.
New Orleans was tops at 5.3, Cleveland was second at 4.7 and Columbus third at 3.7.
