Draft Insider: Expect Jaguars to select defensive standouts with first 2 picks in draft

In five days, the projections will be behind us and the Jaguars’ 2015 draft class will be a reality.

Here’s how I believe that reality will look by the draft’s conclusion Saturday night.

Round 1 (third pick): DL Leonard Williams, USC

The first two picks will be quarterbacks, leaving the Jaguars to take the best overall talent in the draft. That’s Williams.

He’s drawn comparisons to legendary Reggie White and has the versatility to become a dominant player at end or tackle in coach Gus Bradley’s scheme.

If Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell wants a game-changer, he can’t do better than the 6-foot-5, 307-pound Williams.
