While his American football team prepares for the NFL Draft this weekend, Shad Khan’s English football team is wrapping up another disappointing season.
With two matches to play, Fulham – which Khan bought in July 2013 – is mired in 21st place of the Championship flight (second division) out of 24 teams.
Fulham has won only 11 times in 44 matches, but has done enough to avoid relegation (bottom three teams).
Khan released a statement to Fulham’s fans this morning and said he is sticking with manager Slavisa Jokanovic entering 2016-17.
“Under Slavisa Jokanovic, we will enter the 2016-17 campaign with great anticipation and confidence as high as it has been in years.
