This hadn’t been a season to remember for Denard Robinson.
He missed three games early in the year with a knee injury and has seen limited action at running back since then.
He had just three carries in each of the last two games and 28 for the season
Robinson patiently waited for an opportunity and made the most of it when called on in the second half of the Jaguars’ 51-16 victory over the Indianapolis Colts Sunday. He replaced T.J. Yeldon after the rookie went out with a knee injury.
Robinson carried 13 times in the second half for 73 yards, including a 31-yard burst, and scored his first touchdown of the year on a one-yard run late in the game.
