Jaguars cornerback Davon House, who contained Houston wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for three quarters, but gave up two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter Sunday, said he’s not starting this week and will be switched to nickel back.
“I’m not starting right now (against Buffalo Sunday),’’ House said Wednesday before practice. “I’ll be the nickel.’’
Dwayne Gratz, who had been the nickel back, said he was told he will be starting at cornerback.
Last week, House, who had 71 snaps and Aaron Colvin, who played all 72 defensive snaps, were the starting corners and Gratz, who played 42 snaps, was the nickel back.
