Dallas Cowboys to sign Allen Hurns

The Jacksonville Jaguars released veteran wide receiver Allen Hurns in a cost cutting measure, pushing $7 million off the salary cap. It didn’t take long for Hurns, who had a handful of immediate suitors, to land with another team. According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, he’ll be signing for the Dallas Cowboys.

It’s believed to be a two-year deal, but the money has yet to be reported. As mentioned, Hurns was scheduled to make about $7 million this year and was not approached by the team to take a paycut, per Ryan O’Halloran of The Florida Times-Union.
