INDIANAPOLIS | Up for debate Friday at the Scouting Combine was whether Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche helped or hurt his cause by describing the events surrounding his December trip to Atlanta.
He came clean … sort of.
He accepted responsibility … kind of.
The recap: On Dec. 12, Nkemdiche, a second-team All-America, fell from a hotel window. Police found seven marijuana cigarettes in his room, for which he was charged with possession. He was suspended for the Rebels’ Sugar Bowl game against Oklahoma State.
Without that incident, Nkemdiche was a no-doubt first-rounder who had 98 tackles and seven sacks in 35 college games.
