JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It's well-documented that an ACL tear can ruin and sometimes even end careers. For Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin, his knee injury just delayed his development.
Colvin was a highly-rated cornerback coming out of Oklahoma and likely would have been a first or second round pick had he not suffered an ACL tear during the Reese's Senior Bowl leading up to last year's NFL Draft.
He was eventually drafted in the fourth round by Jacksonville and missed 10 games as a rookie.
Now entering his second season, Colvin is where he probably would have been had he not suffered the aforementioned injury.
