In a move that one unnamed NFL general manager called “delirious”, the Indianapolis Colts are rumored to have offered the Jacksonville Jaguars running back Jonathan Taylor in return for quarterback Trevor Lawrence and the key to the City of Jacksonville. The move comes just days before the head-to-head season opener between the two teams.
Insiders with knowledge of the conversation between Colts general manager Chris Ballard and Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke said Baalke reacted by laughing uncontrollably for an hour-and-a-half to the point where, at least for a couple of minutes, he lost complete control of normal bodily functions.
