Chris Ivory, T.J. Yeldon give Jaguars a valuable one-two punch

2015 was the year to focus on making the rushing attack more dangerous for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Head coach Gus Bradley and general manager Dave Caldwell worked together to bring in rookie running back T.J. Yeldon and build a better offense around him and young quarterback Blake Bortles.

Unfortunately, the Jaguars were forced to throw far too often and the offense centered more around Bortles than it ever did around Yeldon. The Jags finished the 2015 season with less yards on the ground (1473) than in 2014 (1633). Yeldon’s injuries, forcing him to only play in 12 games, were a big part of that.
