Two years ago, the Jaguars negotiated a five-year $42 million deal with with Cleveland center Alex Mack.

The Browns decided to match it, but the contract also included a clause that he can opt out of the deal this March when the 2016 calendar year begins.

If he does opt out, it remains to be seen if the Jaguars will pursue him a second time. He is due to make $8 million in base salary in 2016.

Mack told NFL.com at the Pro Bowl last week that he hasn’t decided whether he wants to remain in Cleveland.
