Hyde came to the Browns this past offseason on a three-year contract. He had 382 yards and five touchdowns in six games but with the emergence of rookie Nick Chubb, the Browns must have seen him as expendable.
Since becoming a second-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Hyde has 3,774 total yards on 884 total touches for 29 touchdowns.
