Cam Robinson an ‘A’ selection for the Jacksonville Jaguars, should play left tackle

The Jacksonville Jaguars addressed some big needs in free agency this offseason, but they were all on defense. The Jaguars went into the draft needing to upgrade numerous positions on the offense, and perhaps several of them resided along the offensive line.

They took steps towards helping new franchise cornerstone Leonard Fournette on Friday night by selecting Alabama tackle Cam Robinson. With Branden Albert and Jermey Parnell both still on the roster, it seemed fair to speculate whether or not Robinson would play guard.

General manager David Caldwell clarified things right away after making the selection – Robinson will compete for the left tackle spot.
