Mike Kaye of First Coast News mentions that the Browns are expected to have “heavy interest” in Jaguars free agent S Johnathan Cyprien in the coming days.
However, Kaye adds that free agent S Tony Jefferson will ultimately dictate the safety market.
Previous reports have mentioned the Browns as a potential suitor for Jefferson, who could end up commanding as much as $10 million per year in a long-term deal.
Cyprien previously said he is “kind of nervous” about what’s going to happen this offseason.
