Broncos claim former Jaguars TE Marcel Jensen off waivers

DENVER --- The Denver Broncos have made a move to acquire a former Jacksonville Jaguars pass catcher.

Denver has claimed the rights to the contract of tight end Marcel Jensen, who was waived by the Jaguars on Monday.

Jensen appeared in one game for the Jaguars last season as a rookie. He collected one catch for eight yards.

An undrafted free agent out of Fresno State, Jensen signed a contract with the Jaguars following last year's NFL Draft. He spent time on the practice squad before being temporarily promoted to the active roster in September. He ended last season on injured reserve.
