Brandon Linder adjusting to role as Jaguars center, bonding with Blake Bortles

Jaguars center Brandon Linder and quarterback Blake Bortles are working well together — even off the field.

The proof is in a deleted tweet.

Linder has a unique challenge this offseason as the only established starter on the team to be switching positions. The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Linder started 18 games at right guard in his first two seasons combined but was moved over to the center spot.

Linder will be Bortles’ third center in his three seasons, but chemistry issues don’t seem to be a problem.

“He’s been awesome,” Bortles said. “It’s kind of cool, because he actually just moved out to the beach so we live close to each other now.
