Dwayne Gratz, who lost his starting cornerback job, has rebounded to win the team’s third nickel corner job, Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said Thursday.
A third round draft pick in 2013, Gratz started eight games as a rookie and the first four last year before sitting out a game with a concussion.
When he returned, he didn’t get the starting job back as Demetrius McCray, a seventh round pick in 2013, took over.
“I wasn’t consistent enough,’’ Gratz said of losing his job.
But he wound up starting the last nine games when Alan Ball went on the injured reserve list with a biceps injury.
