Bortles, Robinson star as Jaguars hold off Dolphins

After dropping the season opener and facing a three-game road trip, the Jaguars needed a victory Sunday against Miami at EverBank Field.

Thanks to quarterback Blake Bortles, receiver Allen Robinson and a strong second-half defensive effort, they got it. Kicker Jason Myers connected on a 28-yard field goal with 40 seconds left to give the Jaguars a 23-20 win over the Dolphins (1-1).

The victory was also huge for Jaguars coach Gus Bradley, whose first two teams started 0-8 in 2013 and 0-6 last season.

The Jaguars drove from their 24-yard line to position themselves for a 28-yard field goal try for Myers.
