NASHVILLE, Tenn. — With a one-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Allen Robinson in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars Blake Bortles set the franchise record for touchdown passes in a season.
Bortles' 24th touchdown pass broke the record set by David Garrard in 2010. Garrard threw for 23 touchdowns in his final season with the Jaguars.
Bortles entered the game with 22 touchdowns and hit wide receiver Rashad Greene for his first passing score of the day. However, the touchdown pass to Robinson moved him past Garrard for first place on the all-time list for the Jaguars.
