Sorry Johnny Manziel, but you’re simply not even in consideration.
The top quarterbacks from the 2014 NFL Draft class range from the top of the first round (Blake Bortles) to the top of the second round (Derek Carr) and that other first rounder (Manziel) doesn’t even figure into the consideration.
For all intents and purposes, it’s a three man race to be the best of class and it comes down to Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles, the Minnesota Vikings’ Teddy Bridgewater, and Oakland Raiders’ Derek Carr.
First off, credit where credit is due, Bridgewater deserves some kudos for getting his team into the playoffs and going 11-5 in the 2015 season.
