Once again, James Gladstone has shown that he isn't afraid to swing for the fences to improve the Jacksonville Jaguars. Just weeks after acquiring defensive tackle Khalen Saunders, the first-year manager once again made a trade to bolster a position of need.

Just one day after announcing the initial 53-man roster, Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reported that the Jags got a deal done with the Detroit Lions for wide receiver Tim Patrick. Not long after, Mark Long of the Associated Press announced that Jacksonville gave up a sixth-round selection in 2026 in return for the former Utah Ute.
