Bennett plans to finish strong as run stopper, pass rusher

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — "Finish strong" is not just a mantra for the Jacksonville Jaguars over the next three games.

Several young players are hoping to make big impressions to close out the season. One of those potential "project to proven player" prospects is Jaguars sixth round pick Michael Bennett.

The 22-year-old from Ohio State has shown flashes in 10 games this season. However, a hamstring injury forced Bennett out of action for three games in the middle of the season and seemingly stunted his growth in the lineup.

A season-ending injury for veteran defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks pushed Bennett back into the rotation.
