Beadles named Jaguars nominee for 'NFL Man of the Year'

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Jaguars left guard Zane Beadles is nominated for a major philanthropic award.

The veteran lineman is among the 32 nominees for the "2015 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year" award.

Beadles was chosen as the Jaguars nominee because of his nonprofit foundation that "supports the journey of young people going through life-changing medical experiences and provides fun, excitement and joy to young patients and their families." The Zane Beadles Parade Foundation has raised more than $250,000 in its two-year existence.

Beadles is joined by the likes of Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen, Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte, Cincinnati Bengals (and former Florida Gators) defensive end Carlo Dunlap and Houston Texans defensive end J.
