AROUND THE AFC
u25a0 If T.J. Yeldon emerges as the Jaguars’ go-to running back (like last year), he can look at Giovani Bernard’s new contract as a barometer for his possible second deal. Bernard was drafted No. 37 overall by Cincinnati in 2013 and has posted rushing seasons of 695, 680 and 730 yards. He signed a reported three-year, $15.5 million extension last week. Yeldon was drafted No. 36 last year and had 740 yards as a rookie in 12 games.
u25a0 Bravo to Pittsburgh offensive coordinator Todd Haley for setting a high bar — 30 points per game.
