Allen Robinson is still consistently making plays few receivers can in the NFL.
Allen Hurns is still running routes as crisp as ever.
But, the space has shrunk so far in training camp.
“I’m not afraid to say we have a very good secondary,” Robinson said. “This will be the best secondary in our division. So, getting that work in against these guys, all the different sizes and matchups, will just make us better.”
The Jaguars overhauled their secondary in the offseason and the early returns are promising. The secondary is clearly at a higher level with free-agent additions in free safety Tashaun Gipson and cornerback Prince Amukamara, as well as first-round rookie cornerback Jalen Ramsey, joining holdovers in cornerback Davon House, strong safety Johnathan Cyprien and cornerback Aaron Colvin.
