After 2 years lost to injuries, Jaguars tackle Brennan Williams finally close to 100 percent

NFL linemen weighing well over 300 pounds don’t often show vulnerability.

However, vulnerable is exactly how Jaguars offensive tackle Brennan Williams felt after the first practice of organized team activities on May 26.

“I felt like a baby giraffe out there,” Williams said. “That was my first practice in about two years.”

The 6-foot-6, 310-pound Williams has had a frustrating start to his NFL career. Actually, in some ways, it hasn’t even started.

Houston selected Williams in the third round (89th overall) of the 2013 draft out of North Carolina, giving him a $543,000 signing bonus.
