Broncos HC Vance Joseph said it would be “ideal” for the team to announce their starting quarterback this week, as it would allow their starters to get a full half against the Packers next week.
“That would be ideal,” Joseph said, via Pro Football Talk. “Absolutely because our starters should play a half of football against Green Bay, and that’s going to be our first official game-planned game of the season. So that would be ideal, yes.”
Trevor Siemian has shown enough up to this point to be the favorite to open the season as the Broncos’ starter.
