A year ago, Adidas gave $100,000 to the three players who had the fastest times in the 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis.
Colts’ wide receiver Phillip Dorsett, Vikings cornerback Trae Waynes and Bears wide receiver Kevin White got the money.
At this year’s scouting combine set for next week, Adidas is upping the ante. It will give $1 million to any player who breaks the record running in Adidas shoes.
The odds are they won’t have to write a check because the record of 4.24 was set by Chris Johnson of Arizona in 2008.
