The Jacksonville Jaguars signed the 4th of their 8 rookies to contracts on Thursday, as 7th round tight end Ben Koyack officially joined the team.
Koyack is going to be a fun rookie draft pick to track in my opinion, solely because he was basically a completely free acquisition. The Jaguars received the 229th pick in the 2015 NFL draft from the New York Jets to move down one spot in the 4th round. The Jaguars subsequently used that 7th round pick on Koyack.
Projected as more of an inline, blocking tight end, Koyack joins what is becoming a very crowded tight end room.
