The Jacksonville Jaguars signed the 6th of their 8 rookies to contracts on Monday, as wide receiver Rashad Greene officially joined the team.
Greene’s signing leaves only second round running back T.J. Yeldon and third round guard A.J. Cann as the only unsigned draft picks.
Greene joins what is probably the youngest receiving corps in the entire NFL, but he has a good shot at finding a role early on. The Jaguars made a hard push for Randall Cobb in free agency, and they still need someone to play the slot effectively. Greene should have every opportunity to play the inside and become the same kind of reliable pass catcher he was in college for Jameis Winston.
