2019 NFL injury news: Quincy Williams returns to Jaguars practice

The Jacksonville Jaguars saw a huge boost as they started practice on Tuesday afternoon with rookie linebacker Quincy Williams returning without a knee brace. Williams went down at the beginning of August with a knee injury, but he’s back a little less than two weeks before their season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs.

It was thought to be up to a six week injury, but Williams has made it back in fewer than four.

Williams is in line to be the team’s starting weakside linebacker, taking over for the retired Telvin Smith.
