The Jacksonville Jaguars are actually still playing for a possible No. 1 seed in the NFL playoffs so we haven’t looked much into the future, as far as free agency and the salary cap. On Tuesday afternoon it was reported that the 2018 salary cap is projected to be between $174 and $178 million, which would be roughly a $10 million increase from the current figure.

As I’ve tried to explain through the season when discussions of contracts and who the Jaguars can and cannot afford to keep/sign, the salary cap has increase every season since the new CBA by at least $10 million and over the past two seasons has increased at least $12 million.
