2016 NFL Draft: Jaguars Pick Jalen Ramsey - Scouting Report, Highlight Video And More

With the fifth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars have selected Florida State DB Jalen Ramsey.

Position: Cornerback/Safety

Measurables: 6’1’’, 209 pounds, 4.41 40-yard dash

Analysis:
Ramsey’s versatility and athleticism makes him a natural playmaker no matter where he’s placed in the secondary. He logged time at cornerback and safety at Florida State, in addition to competing as a sprinter and long jumper for the Seminoles. He could play as safety, outside corner or nickel back at the next level. Has great size and length, which allows him to disrupt passes, but his lack of interceptions in college (zero in his junior year) is concerning.
