Last week, Iowa State beat Kansas so badly that they fired their coach, and continued their run towards the Big 12 Championship Game. Meanwhile, the rest of the Big 12 refused to cooperate. West Virginia won perhaps the most exciting back-and-forth game of the season to stay in a tie for first in the conference. Oklahoma rallied back from an early deficit to beat Texas Tech on the road. Things are starting to become more clear, as 4 teams seem to have separated from the pack, Iowa State being one of them. Interestingly enough, all 4 have identical 1-1 “round robin” records against each other, making the last 3 weeks of the regular season as pivotal as ever.
