Future Cyclone Kate Hall broke the junior national record in the girls long jump at the New Balance Nationals in Greensboro, N.C., on Sunday.
Hall had the second best mark at the event entering her final jump and never reached 21 feet in her career. She needed a jump longer than 21 feet 5.25 inches for the title.
