Emily Durr was fully aware of the void left by TeeTee Starks. On Sunday, Durr took it upon herself to try and fill that spot, to match the intensity Starks brought to the court, to bring another level of toughness so she could help her team.
Durr did more than that, as the Iowa State women’s basketball team clobbered Alcorn State, 91-41. The sophomore guard turned in a career game, and made a strong case for more playing time moving forward.
