Five different Cyclones scored in double figures as the Iowa State women’s basketball team beat Concordia-St. Paul, 77-51, on Sunday afternoon at Hilton Colsieum.
Just like in their first exhibtion game, the Cyclones started slow, scoring just 12 points in the first 10 minutes of play. But ISU rode a three-point surge in the second quarter for a 39-20 lead at half.
During that second quarter, the Cyclones made seven 3-pointers. They ended the game with 10 total treys — six more than they had against Midwestern State on Thursday.
Seanna Johnson led ISU with 14 points and added eight rebounds.
