The Iowa State women’s basketball team announced that Cassandria Baier has been named the program’s new director of strength and conditioning on Thursday afternoon.
Baier replaces Pete Link, who was named the ISU men’s basketball strength coach on June 1.
“We are very fortunate to have a strength and conditioning position dedicated solely to women’s basketball so this was a critical hire for our program,” ISU coach Bill Fennelly said in a release. “The pool of applicants was very strong and I am thrilled that Cassandra Baier has decided to join the Iowa State Cyclone family.
“Coach Baier has an impressive and broad-based background.
