Now that Prohm is the next coach of the Cyclones, here are some quick facts about his life and career:
Before coming to Ames, Prohm racked up a 104-29 record in four years as the head coach of the Murray State Racers.
Prohm led Murray State to two NCAA tournament appearances and an NIT Final Four appearance. The 2014-15 campaign witnessed the Racers build a 29-6 overall record. They were ranked No. 8 in the nation in scoring at 79 points per game.
Before getting the head coaching gig at Murray State in 2011, Prohm served as an assistant coach at the school from 2006-11.
