Saturday started off slow for Iowa State but the second half came and Jacob Park and the Iowa State offense took off. Everything wasn’t necessarily pretty, but it was effective enough to get another win before they enter the conference slate. Here are three things we learned in the win over Akron.
Iowa State Offense Continues to Impress
Minus the sluggish start and a few red zone woes, Iowa State’s offense is a train rolling down the tracks fast. They have rattled off three straight games with over 400 yards of offense, with the unit producing 508 yards against Akron, as well as still being on track to average over 41 points a game.
