This season is good to wrap a bow on it, and call it a year. There’s hard to find even small victories in this game, as the Cyclones were beaten in every aspect for 40 minutes tonight in Hilton. Hilton was once revered as one of the toughest places to play, and now it’s not uncommon for Iowa State to lose by 20+.
Iowa State struggled mightily on defense all night. The effort level was low all night for the Cyclones. Texas Tech shot a blistering 56.4%, not because they were on fire, but because they got easy looks on more possessions than not.
