ISU men's basketball coach Steve Prohm owns success developing and getting his point guards into the NBA from his former school, Murray State. And that was on display Thursday night.
In Thursday's 2015 NBA Draft, Prohm's former point guard at Murray State , Cameron Payne, was selected as the 14th pick in the first round by the Oklahoma State Thunder.
Isaiah Canaan, another of Prohm's former point guards at Murray State, was drafted 34th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets.
In 2013-14, Canaan spent much of the season in the NBA Developmental League.
