Steve Prohm is headed to Iowa State. The Murray State coach reached an agreement in principle with Cyclones officials Monday, where he'll look to build on Fred Hoiberg's recent run of success.
Gary Parrish of CBS Sports and Jeff Goodman of ESPN reported the news. An official announcement is expected "soon," per Parrish.
Prohm, 40, went 104-29 in four seasons at Murray State. He led the Racers to a round of 32 appearance in 2012, his first season as head coach, before falling short of the tournament each of the next four years.
