Texas Christian University heads into week one of Big 12 play supporting the top passing defense in the conference a season ago. Gary Patterson’s defense allowed only 199.7 yards through the air per contest last season. The Horned Frogs pass defense was arguably the strength of their team in 2019, as they were relatively average against the run, while on the offensive end they struggled to move the ball ultimately leading to a 5-7 record on the season.
