Iowa State added another wide receiver to its class of 2018 on Wednesday when C.J. Bolar pledged his loyalty to the Cyclones. As noted by Alex Halsted of 247Sports, Bolar is ISU’s highest-rated wide receiver recruit since Allen Lazard.
Bolar is rated as a 3-star prospect and stands at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. His size figures to immediately translate to Big 12 play upon his arrival in Ames. Other schools who offered the Purvis, Mississippi native included Mississippi State, Louisville, North Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and more.
